Champions League Quarter Final Draw Details

Champions League Quarter Final Draw Details

The quarter final draw for this year's Champions League tournament will be made on Friday.

With Tuesday and Wednesday evening's fixtures seeing Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Leicester City, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Monaco book their places in the quarter final round of the competition, each club will know their future opponents by Friday afternoon.

The draw takes place at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland at 12pm CET on March 17 - that's 11am BST - and it will be screened live on UEFA.com.

The quarter finals are unseeded so it is an open draw and sides from the same domestic national association can face each other. As ever, the side drawn first will play the first leg at their home ground and first legs are provisionally scheduled to take place on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 of April, with the second legs following later that month on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19.

Future dates for the competition are as follows.

Quarter-finals: 11/12 & 18/19 April
Semi-final draw: 21 April
Semi-finals: 2/3 & 9/10 May
Final: Saturday 3 June, National Stadium of Wales
