Ancelotti - Costa Isn't Unhappy At Bayern

Bayern Munich's Douglas Costa had suggested in a recent interview with Bild he could be considering his future at the Allianz Arena.

The Brazilian international claimed interest from the Chinese Super League as well as clubs from England, France and Spain with Douglas intimating his future with Bayern would be considered at the end of the season.

Carlo Ancelotti commented on this situation in his news conference ahead of the German Cup win over Wolfsburg. Quoted by the Daily Mail the coach said he didn't have any concerns over Douglas' future.

'I didn't read the interview, but I speak to him regularly, he is satisfied to be here. When it comes to the happiness or the sadness of the player, there are agents who maybe want to put pressure on the club, who want to be more involved.'

Ancelotti added.

'I have a direct relationship with the player. He's happy to stay here, he is involved and that counts for me. I think the interview came more from the agent than from the player.'

Costa did say in his interview he felt he could achieve all he wanted to with Bayern. The hope now will be the 2015 signing from Shakhtar Donetsk will now focus on his football with the Bavarians.
