Costa's Attracting Premier League Interest

Costa's Attracting Premier League Interest

Well, in actual fact Bayern Munich forward Douglas Costa has claimed interest from England, Spain and France.

Costa has claimed his form for Bayern this season - which is what saw him join the Bavarians anyway - has already brought further interest in him. He'll analyse this when the 2016-17 season has comes to an end.

He said 'strong offers' have come in from the Chinese Super League and big clubs from across Europe.

Brazil international Costa was quoted by Bild - via the Metro - as saying.

'We got some strong offers from China and also from big clubs from Europe. When the season is over, we will sit down and analyse everything.'

But Costa added his first focus is ending this season with success at the Allianz Arena.

'First of all, I am only focused on ending the season with all the titles I can win. It is not my idea to leave Bayern now. I want to win titles.'

He went on to say he's sure he can win the trophies he wants to with Bayern and the personal accolades. These include the Champions League and being named the Ballon d'Or winner.

Costa is also targeting other titles at club level and winning the World Cup with Brazil.

'I like Bayern and I think I can win titles with Bayern to reach the highest technical level of my career, to go for the Ballon d`Or, the Champions League, the Club World Cup. I want to win all sorts of titles and then the World Cup with the Brazilian national team. Then we will think about new markets.'

As for the interest being shown in him he wasn't naming names but claimed Premier League, La Liga and Ligue 1 clubs all want him.

'I cannot comment on names, but there are contacts with teams from England, Spain and also France.'
